Poker Calculator Odds: How Different Types Of Poker Calculator Can Improve Your Game

Poker calculators, such as this auto poker odds calculator, are used by some poker players in order to help them to understand the mathematical probabilities of winning a particular hand. Used over time, they can assist a player in making decisions regarding whether to stay in a hand or fold it. By improving a player’s understanding of the poker calculator odds of winning a hand, he can add a scientific approach to the question of whether he should pay to meet another player’s raise.

Poker relative mathematical calculators

These calculators can provide extremely interesting data which will help a beginner to understand the strengths of different hands. Many televised poker tournaments display data from these types of calculators to the viewers. They can do this because they are able to see all the hole cards. The players themselves, of course, do not have this luxury.

Using this method, the poker calculator odds displayed will show each player’s percentage chance of winning the pot at any given point in the game. Effectively, the calculator will assess all the different options to arrive at its calculation. It can reassess these each time another card is drawn. By using these calculators players can understand the mathematical odds of winning hands. In reality, they do not know which hole cards their opponents are holding, but very good players will often have built up an idea through betting patterns and understanding poker calculator odds will help them to make more informed decisions.

Empirical calculators

In addition to the above mathematical functions, these types of poker calculators will keep a track of your opponents and can be put to particularly good use at online poker tables. The poker calculator will assess the playing styles and success rates of opponents in order to build up a profile of a particular player. This will give you a very good indication of the strengths and weaknesses of the players around the table and so can be used to maximize success at online poker rooms. Most products can be used to monitor a table without the need to actually sit down at it and play in advance.

Playing patterns such as how often different players entered the pot, and whether they checked, raised or called can help to build up a profile of a particular player. This means that future actions can be assessed all the more knowledgably on this basis. For example, an early raise from a tight player will be more indicative of a particularly strong hand for which caution in calling should be advised.

Using poker calculator odds can help you to understand the quality of your own hand and also assess the opponents against whom you are playing.

New Casino tops Customer charts

As our regular readers know it is rare for me to add a new casino to the Top 10 list.  Why is this?  Over the years casinos come and go, but the genuinely well-managed, honestly run and fairly regulated casinos tend to stick around.  So why change.

The only time we change a casino on the Top 10 list, or on our front page, is in response to a customer complaint that is upheld against a casino, or when something genuinely new and different comes along.

Well, today we have that.  Swiss Casino, while new on the block, has already become hugely popular with out players, especially those that like roulette.  They have a quite astonishing new player incentive (Check it here) and some very original games, like Derby Day.

Click here to visit the official site.

As well as putting Swiss here on Playhard, we have also added it to the recommended Mayer casinos, for casinos where it is safe to play using the amazing Mayer Roulette System

Blackjack Continuous Shuffling Machine

How these machines work –

After every hand, the cards are placed into the shuffler where they are shuffled with all other cards. These systems take the help of elevator systems in order to randomize each of the cards. As the elevator moves down and up, cards are inserted at random into each of the nineteen shelves of the elevator. The shuffler then selects a random a shelf that is to be delivered into the shoe. Since this process is non-linear, there is a chance that every card that has just been inserted into the machine may turn up in the following round as well.

There are some machines that their makers claim to be a much better system when compared to the others as most other CSM’s use linear designs. Chances are they too put discards back into play and also stop the dealers from taking breaks to shuffle the cards during game play.

House edge –

CSM’s do not benefit any player either and has started to be known as the uncomfortable shoe by a lot of the players. This does not let any skilled players to count the cards and also puts basic strategy players at a very big disadvantage. It also makes the game a lot faster.

When CSM was initially introduced, there were a lot of players thought that it would help to increase house edges. But, it seems that this was not completely true. But, there has been a very small reduction in the house’s edge.

In 4 deck games, there is a 0.034% house edge and this figure is 0.014% in an 8 deck game. But, before you start jumping for joy, you need to realize that the games speed goes up by 20% with these machines. Basic Blackjack strategy players are bound to lose a lot more money as they expose more of it to the house’s edge.

It feels special when you go to casinos that offer one and two deck games. These games should not be eliminated.

To win at Roulette every time is a pipedream. But to win at roulette consistently over time, and to turn a regular profit is certainly possible. Systems such as the Mayer Roulette Strategy are designed exactly with this aim in mind.To win at roulette every time there are some core guidelines and helpful tips to follow:

  • Select your bets carefully: To win at roulette you need to avoid the temptation to plaster the table. House edge is around 2.7% in European roulette, so if you cover every number with chips you will lose 2.7% on each bet. Just think of each £100 bet costing you £2.70 and you will see the futility of this method if you want to learn how to win at roulette every time
  • Choose a system: There are many available, but most are expensive and ineffective. Try a free roulette system instead and you have little to lose. A popular one is published by playhard.co.uk. To know how to win at roulette every time requires knowledge, a good roulette system, and the self-discipline to follow a strategy. Remember this is gaming, not gambling. You are here to win.
  • Avoid roulette scams: There are thousands of systems available claiming to beat the system. Most of these are ineffective. Others are just outright roulette scams and should be avoided at all cost. Follow a reputable system with a proven track record, such as Mayer, and ask around if you are unsure.
  • Use casino joining bonuses: Generally the more you deposit the first time, the higher the joining bonus, up to a limit of around 600. Getting the bonus won’t necessarily help you win, but it means you can play with someone else’s money. Used properly a joining bonus acts as leverage and can increase winnings substantially.

Follow the helpful tips above and you will enjoy roulette more, and you will learn how to win every time at roulette. Every session is a new one, and you must use each game to turn a profit.

French Roulette Rules – How to Win French Roulette

French roulette uses a European roulette wheel. To understand the difference between French and American roulette it is important to understand the differences in the wheels.

There are 2 different types of roulette wheel; American and European. The difference is the number of zeroes on the wheel. American Roulette wheels have two 0’s (double-zero) whereas European has only one zero. A double zero (American) increases the house edge, which is bad fro the player. You should therefore always choose to play European roulette when given a choice.

A good roulette strategy will improve win rate

French Roulette rules are different in that French roulette uses the European single zero wheel so the player receives better odds. The other difference with American roulette is that numbers are arranged in a different order on a French Roulette wheel.

The object of French Roulette is to predict the number that the silver roulette ball will land on. After the player has placed his bet, the croupier (dealer) releases the small silver ball onto the spinning wheel, always in the opposite direction of the spin. The ball will stop in one of the numbered slots and if the player has guessed correctly which number the ball will fall on then he has won.

In French Roulette there are three main classes of bet: call bets, inside bets and outside bets.

There are several types of call bets. The 2 main types of call bet are Voisins du zero (in English the Neighbours of Zero), which covers all 17 numbers in the area to the ;left and right of the zero on the wheel, and Tiers du Cylindre (one-third of the cylinder), which covers a different twelve numbers in a sweeping arc between numbers 27 and 33. Call bets are usually placed for you by the croupier, rather than having to do it yourself.

Inside bet are when the player bets on a number, or indeed a combinations of different numbers on the inside portion of the table felt. This is in contrast to an outside bet which is placed outside the table layout, at the edge of the felt, and is placed on colours (i.e. red or black) or on odds/evens.

The last type of bet you need to understand in the rules of French roulette are the Orphelins. The Orphelins (Orphans) are the remaining 8 numbers on the wheel located outside tiers du cylindre and voisins du zero.

Armed with this knowledge, try a game of French roulette now and see how you can gain a good competitive advantage from knowing the rules. Use this to win at French roulette.

To get the very best odds, in roulette use a casino that offers the rules above.  This one will work nicely.  Combine French roulette with this powerful Mayer roulette strategy and you can make killer winnings from the age old game of roulette.

The 10 Common Pitfalls of Roulette Systems

Filed under: Roulette Systems,Tips and Strategy,Uncategorized — Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , — admin @ 10:13 pm

Here are the ten most common types of roulette system, and why you should beware of them:

  1. Progressive betting system: The most common of all. Lose on the first bet? Just double it and double again until you win. That’s all well and good but eventually you will hit the table limit, or your own wallet’s limit, and then you are bust.
  2. Pure chance: Wait for five reds then bet on black! Does not work.
  3. Number patterns: These systems rely on tiny discrepancies in the roulette wheel, or in the case of online casinos, in the roulette software, which cause numbers to come up in patterns. The idea is to write down the last ten spins and then use a formula to calculate the most likely number to come next. Unfortunately wheels are now so closely measured that you have a higher chance of being hit by a meteorite than of making money from this.
  4. Wheel measuring devices: A number of electronic devices are on sale that apparently measure the roulette wheel and determine where it will stop. The problem with these is that first they do not work and secondly if you are ever spotted trying to use one you will be kicked out of the casino and will be very lucky if you avoid prosecution.
  5. “Free” systems: All the free roulette systems on the internet rely on one factor. When you use the system you will first sign up to their recommended casino, for which the kind author gets handsomely rewarded. Avoid free systems and instead choose a system which works in any casino.
  6. Martingale: This system is one of the oldest, and probably the most simple. It relies on you doubling your bet so that each win cancels out the previous losses. As per number 1 this will cause you to go bust in the end.
  7. Complex rules: Some systems are so complex that they are almost impossible to model mathematically. While this makes them difficult to disprove it unfortunately doesn’t overcome the fact that they can’t beat the house edge.
  8. Roulette Software: Complex roulette software can record each winning number and suggest the next one for you. In effect these software packages are simply doing what one of the above systems is doing. No more no less. Don’t expect any more success than by doing the guessing yourself.
  9. Magic number: Often touted as the way to make money from the bookies machine, this system re-lies on the fact that once a certain number comes up it is always followed by another one in a strict pattern. This is clearly ludicrous and if it were ever the case would be fixed immediately.
  10. Cheating(!): Finally, the best and worst of all. Yes, cheating can help you win but 1) it is practically impossible to do at roulette, and 2) you will be prosecuted for trying.

Avoid the roulette systems above and enjoy playing roulette.
